The Americas / Buyer’s desk

Build the buying list.
Define the destination.

A useful sourcing request connects the engine reference with your actual import and resale requirement. Use this workspace before requesting an offer.

One request. Four decisions.

Which engine? What is included? How many units? Where will the batch go? A clear answer to each helps avoid comparing quotations with different scopes.

01 / North America

Specify the destination
before reviewing supply.

For requests destined for the United States, Canada or Mexico, include the destination country, receiving port and exact intended application. Engine-code availability is separate from local import eligibility.

  • Provide the full code, suffix, vehicle year and nameplate details.
  • Discuss destination requirements with your customs broker before ordering.
  • List any documents or evidence your broker needs the supplier to provide.

02 / South America

Organize the batch
around your receiving plan.

Give quantities per model and identify your receiving country and port. For a mixed-model requirement, describe how you want the units identified and which components must accompany each engine.

  • Separate engine-only and complete-assembly requirements.
  • Specify labels, packing preferences and accessory lists.
  • Keep import approval checks separate from the sourcing quotation.

03 / Compare the offer

Compare matching scopes.

Request a quotation that states currency, quantities, included parts, packing and freight terms. Ask which unit photos or inspection materials correspond to the offer. Avoid comparing an engine-only price with a complete-assembly price.

04 / Send the requirement

Keep the next step concrete.

Your inquiry should contain enough information to check supply. A request is not an order or a stock reservation. Review the actual offered units and agreed terms before committing.
